Dell has reached a deal with the office supply chain Staples to offer Dell desktop and notebook computers, monitors, printers, ink, and toner. Starting November 11, Staples will begin selling Dell products both in its physical stores and online at Staples.com. Initial models to be sold in the Staples chains include the Inspiron 1721 and 1521 notebooks, and Inspiron 530 desktops.
Staples already sells various desktop and laptop computer models at their stores, including HP, Toshiba, Acer, and ZT Reliant. The move by Dell marks another major shift into retail for the computer company, which was founded in 1984 as PC’s Limited and from the beginning emphasized direct sales (initially, through magazine advertisements and catalogs) over a retail presence.

which one is the best?
HP, Toshiba, Acer, and ZT Reliant.
Dell offers a lot of value. Toshiba’s has a track record of international quality. HP has been making a big push for the consumer market and have some innovative models. Acer is just plain cheap. Never heard of ZT Reliant. JT
